Barton Fink – È Successo A Hollywood

Barton Fink è un mite commediografo di New York il quale dopo il grande successo di una sua pièce teatrale a Broadway viene convinto a trasferirsi ad Hollywood per scrivere un film sul wrestling per una grande casa di produzione. Le sue idee romantiche di scrittore interessato alla “gente comune” sono però in contrasto con il fatiscente e ambiguo ambiente hollywoodiano con il quale si ritroverà suo malgrado a fare i conti.

Barton Fink is a mild-mannered New York playwright who after the success of his Broadway play is persuaded to move to Hollywood to write a wrestling picture for a big Studio. His romantic ideas about the writer as the mouthpiece of the “common man” are unfortunately at odds with the flamboyant and ambiguous world of Hollywood which he will sadly have to deal with from now on.
