Short films (fiction and/or animation) in digital format with a maximum duration of 20 minutes, produced in Europe in the two-year period 2024/2025, are admitted to the competition.

the films are presented in the theatre, in their original language with italian subtitles, during the XXX edition of Linea d’Ombra Festival to be held in Salerno, Italy, 8-15 November 2025.

HOW TO ENROLL

The submission of the films can take place:
● through the online registration platform: www.filmfreeway.com
● by direct invitation from the festival

Registration requires a fee of € 3 to be paid with the registration on the platform. The deadline for registering for the pre-selection is 1 September 2025 at 23:59; UTC +1.

JURY AND AWARDS

The Linea d’Ombra Festival award for the best shortfilm in the CortoEuropa_30 section, worth € 2000, will be awarded by the Jury of Experts and is to be understood as gross of the withholding taxes envisaged by Italian legislation.
The Popular Jury (registered and present) will award the Linea d’Ombra Festival Award Plate for best shortfilm in the CortoEuropa_30 section.

 

The registration of the work in the competition implies full acceptance of the regulations.
