Description
copertinaWhere is the new Italian cinema heading? Surely one of the trends is the return to experimentation with film genres. Many are the names of authors – from Alemà and Carrisi to Mainetti, Manetti Bros., Rovere and Sibilia among others – who are confronting themselves with new forms of narration, always keeping an eye on the past and on a certain tradition that has made our cinema.

Boris Sollazzo and Pedro Armocida, respectively artistic director and expert juror of the LineaDoc competition section of our festival, talk about these topics as journalists / film critics and authors of the book, published by Marsilio in 2019, which gives the title to the meeting.
