How to apply
The recommended equipment for the workshop includes:
- Reflex 4k with fixed optics
- Gimble or monopod
- Computer with adequate high-end graphic card and video codec.
To take part in the workshop it is necessary to send by October 16th a brief mail of presentation (max 1500 characters) with the subject “Registration Workshop Doc SMS at LdO 2020” + attached resume in PDF format at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Candidates that will get through the resume evaluation by the Festival’s artistic direction will receive a confirmation email by October 21st.
During the workshop, the selected participants will use their own equipment only and will have to wear surgical face masks according to protocol Covid-19.
Participants will go through all the steps: from the idea to the script, from filming to editing.
In the field phase, the documentary will be shot and edited.

After obtaining a degree in Communication Science, he soon choses audiovisual as a tool to express himself but also to make a living. After starting as Gabriele Anastasio’s assistant director, during his formative experience in the field of cinema, he had the chance to meet and work with influential personalities such as Ermanno Olmi, Luigi di Gianni, Simona Paggi, Esmeralda Calabria, Sergio Rubini.
In 2007 he founded Hobos Factory and has kept realising audiovisual products since then: spot, fiction, videoclip, documentaries…. He has experimented with almost everything that moves on screen.
Luciano Mauro, Minerva’s Garden director.
After graduating in Agricultural Sciences in the 1980s, he became an expert in landscaping and green design. Naturalistic engineering, landscape planning, green design (public gardens, parks) and the restoration of historic gardens are his specialties.
Michele Rosco, entrepreneur and expert consultant for territorial marketing.
Administrator and mentor of the Mirò consultancy firm, man of many ideas, all brilliant but not always possible. Great storyteller and communicator, he truly believes in the potential of the web. He has done a lot in the marketing field, but is now keen on storytelling, culture and tourism marketing.
He is author of texts for online platforms, websites, multimedia products for the promotion of the territory and cultural heritage.
