A music night, between smooth jazz and rock’n blues, with a splash of Beatles and some images taken from movies on jazz: the perfect mix is served to accompany the launch of the festival, in collaboration with the city administration and Fondazione Scuola Medica Salernitana. From this evening, starts an audiovisual workshop that will enable the realisation of a documentary on the Minerva’s Garden, in view of the candidacy of the Schola Medica Salernitana as UNESCO Intangible Heritage.

Event organised within “We Make City Festival Summer School”, a week dedicated to urban regeneration in the heart of town. Drawing into the Linea d’Ombra’s substantial archive, a cycle of animated short films is proposed. Through the contemporary tale formula, re-read and interpreted with new audiovisual tools, both kids and grown-ups are offered stories between fantasy and reality.

Mauro Uzzeo, writer, screenwriter, director, is fully active in the field of entertainment. At the end of the exhibition “Tex. 70 years of a myth “, scheduled at Palazzo Fruscione from 18 September to 18 October 2020, Mauro Uzzeo is a guest of COMICON Extra. The Neapolitan kermesse organizes, in collaboration with Linea d’Ombra Festival, a two-way meeting with our artistic director, Boris Sollazzo. We discuss the close relationship between cinema and comics, accompanied by the designer Alessandro Giordano, author of the 5th issue of Il Confine (Sergio Bonelli Editore), entitled “Quella notte di Dicembre”, which comes out on 8 October.
