SYNOPSIS
A French actress who is in Japan to shoot a film about peace and a Japanese architect meet each other in Hiroshima, destroyed by the atomic bomb fourteen years ago, and become lovers. During an entire night of intimate reflections and memories, they recall the nuclear tragedy, the bodies maimed by radiation, the hospitals, the sudden extermination of thousands of women and men. She is about to leave to go to Europe but their meeting, in a city marked by death, generates in her an unexpected vital energy.
