Set in Turin during the week of the ATP Finals, the novel introduces the first transgender police commissioner in Italian crime fiction: Andrea Lagrange, investigator and aesthete, lover of art and collecting, who navigates the shadows of the city to uncover uncomfortable truths.
The novel is part of a transmedia project that includes a blog, a cultural tour of the places featured in the novel, and the possible creation of a television series.
MONICA MANGANELLI
Director, set designer and digital visual artist, author and screenwriter with over twenty years of experience in the world of opera, cinema, theatre and visual arts at an international level. Her career, marked by a strong multidisciplinary approach, has led her to collaborate with leading Italian opera houses and international film productions, earning her recognition at more than fifty festivals around the world, including a Nastro d’Argento award, a David di Donatello nomination and a longlist for the 2016 Oscars. Invited as a speaker by universities and cultural institutions in Italy and abroad, she has received numerous awards for her artistic qualities.
