CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT THROUGH MOVEMENT FROM TEXT TO ACTION

The body grows and changes with us, the weight of the soul and life experiences shape and characterize it in form and rhythm. A character’s body moves through imitation as well as through family, religious, and sports education;  it is possible, only through careful study, to reconstruct its history and give it a movement that represents itself. To enter a character’s body, it is necessary to study its history and analyze the details: from breathing to action through text. The study of emotions is fundamental in order to convey them and find the right measure for a theater stage or film set. From an initial phase of analysis and practice of interpretation, the relationship between the body and the camera will be studied. How to move in relation to the technical medium and how it changes according to the shots and lighting of the set.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
