Re:Vision_LdO30 is an audiovisual performance created and designed to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the Linea d’Ombra Festival and its history through a journey that brings together the past, present and future.
The artwork is taken and deconstructed by visual artist Andrea Maioli of the KANAKA collective to celebrate its history and future prospects on the walls of the Sala Pasolini, in tandem with the music of K.lust, Anacleto Vitolo‘s beat-oriented project in a mix of tribalism and modernity.
The cyclical nature of the sounds evokes the immersive quality of the Sala Pasolini, while the future-tribalism of the music pays tribute to the history of Linea D’ombra and its contribution to the culture of the city of Salerno and beyond.
BIO
Andrea Maioli
With a degree in Industrial Design, he is a Visual Designer and New Media Artist with experience in multimedia installations, live performances and artistic direction. In 2011, he founded Kanaka Studio, which specialises in Visual & Sound Design, New Media Art and Interaction Design. The studio creates innovative solutions, combining visual design, 3D, video mapping and interactive performances, with a focus on museum installations and digital scenography for international brand events.
Anacleto Vitolo
A.K.A. AV-K / K.lust
A graduate in Electronic Music and Sound Engineering, he is a musician and producer with several collaborations and releases to his name. Winner of Meitech in 2008, he signed a contract with FatCat Records in 2013 and participated in the MiRA festival in Barcelona in 2015. Today he teaches Music Technology and works in audio production and post-production. His beat-oriented project K.lust explores cyclicality in human civilisation, using hypnotic rhythms as a metaphor for alienation and modern resources.
