The masterclass with free admission is open to a maximum of 40 participants.

To participate in the Masterclass, you must book your place no later than 23:59 UTC+1. on 12/11/2023.

The screening of documentaries by the masters of Italian and international cinema, from Vittorio De Seta to Michael Moore, will be the starting point from which to address the discourse on the cinema of reality and contemporary reality, between challenges and changes.

During the meeting, the themes of editing and filming will be addressed in particular.


Andrea D'Ambrosio

Andrea D’Ambrosio (1975) is a director from Campania. He studied directing and screenwriting with Giuseppe De Santis, Carlo Lizzani, Ettore Scola, Florestano Vancini and Ugo Pirro. Over the course of his career he has made numerous award-winning documentaries, including: Pesci combattenti (2002), L’oro azzurro, an episode of the film Checosamanca (2002), Di mestiere faccio il paesologo (2010), Il sentiero dei Lupi (2021), and others. He shot, in 2016, the feature film Due euro l’ora, which participated in many international festivals, winning awards and critical acclaim, including the Bronze Zenith at the World International Film Festival in Montreal.
