SALA PIER PAOLO PASOLINI
Built in the 1920s, the former Teatro Diana has taken on various roles over time: movie theater, open-air cinema, theater, and Casa dei Balilla.
Today, after a significant architectural and functional renovation, the theater has become a multimedia hall — a cutting-edge, dynamic space for immersive artistic performances. It is located across from the renewed Santa Teresa beach, now offering the most beautiful view of the Gulf and the Salerno waterfront.

PICCOLO TEATRO PORTA CATENA
Located in the heart of Salerno’s historic center, the Piccolo Teatro Porta Catena occupies the spaces of an ancient building adjacent to the Church of San Pietro a Corte, near the historic Porta Catena — one of the city’s monumental gateways.
Founded with the aim of enhancing the local cultural heritage, the theater has become a key venue for Salerno’s independent theater scene. COMPLESSO SAN MICHELE
Built around the Church of San Michele Arcangelo, the monastic complex dates back to the 10th century and is one of the oldest religious landmarks in the city. After a long period of transformations and restorations—culminating in 2021 with a major enhancement project promoted by the Carisal Foundation—the complex has become a key cultural and social hub for the city of Salerno.

CINEMA FATIMA
A historic parish cinema dating back to the 1960s, Cinema Fatima is located in the eastern area of Salerno. Since 1968, it has hosted the city’s most renowned art-house film club, founded by the esteemed Don Andrea Vece, who passed away in 2017.
Welcoming and recently renovated with a state-of-the-art digital projection system, the cinema offers a high level of comfort, designed according to the most modern standards for enjoying the cinematic experience.

MUSEO VIRTUALE SCUOLA MEDICA SALERNITANA
Located in the heart of Salerno’s historic center, the Virtual Museum of the Salernitan Medical School is a center for scientific and cultural dissemination of great historical significance. Originating from the evolution of the Didactic Museum founded in 1993, the new exhibition uses multimedia and interactive technologies to tell the extraordinary story of the Medical School, which between the 11th and 12th centuries made Salerno an international hub for medical knowledge and practice.
The exhibition path—fully accessible and free of architectural barriers—takes visitors on an immersive journey through illuminated manuscripts, digital reconstructions, and ancient medical instruments.

PALAZZO SANT’AGOSTINO
Originally built as a monastery dedicated to Saint Augustine, Palazzo Sant’Agostino dates back to the early 14th century and is among the oldest historical landmarks in the center of Salerno. Constructed in 1309, the building has undergone numerous structural and functional transformations over the centuries.
During the Napoleonic era, under the rule of Joachim Murat, the ancient religious complex was converted into an administrative headquarters, undergoing significant architectural modifications that shaped its current appearance. After the Unification of Italy, it became the seat of the Prefecture and later of the Province of Salerno, taking on the name “Palazzo Sant’Agostino.”
Renovated and enhanced with respect for its architectural heritage, it now serves as an important institutional and cultural center.
