He works as a journalist for Swiss Television, currently as a correspondent from Italy. Since 2010 he is the editor of PardoLive, the magazine and official website of the Locarno Film Festival. He taught “Analysis of the audiovisual language” and “Phenomenology of styles” at the Italian Swiss University and “Screenplay and narratology” at the Conservatory of Audiovisual Sciences of Lugano.
He has made several documentaries (Sisters of Italy, Vendesi Sicurezza, Bill Barazetti: a Swiss dilemma); theater performances and poetic performances (La Ballata dei Matti, The Dirty Lady, I Confess, The Killer, Family Card); he wrote film screenplays (Siesta, One against one, Taxiphone, Come un morto in Acapulco); he was author and radio host for Rai RadioDue; he acted as himself in Fulvio Bernasconi’s mockumentary Rsi “Operation Lombardy”.
His latest publication: “Forever Young”, history of the Festival del film Locarno 1997-2012 “(Ed. Festival del film Locarno 2014). Previously, he published short stories and poems for Lupetti Editore, Marcos & Marcos, Mobydick, Iceberg and various Italian and Swiss literary magazines.
